I have spent a lot of my time judging myself and the world rather then do things that make me happy. In judging myself it doesn't allow for freedom in the pursuit of my own happiness because i never feel like my life is good enough. Really its all about perspective. How are you viewing yourself based of your frame of reference. I am gaining a better understanding of myself when i read. Which gives me higher ideals but its trying to fit the ideals into my current way of living. which is where the blog and change comes in.
To me life is about realizing a greater depth to our emotional state. Which the ego, our sense of self. The part of myself that i call me, understands that the emotions are a scary phenomenon to try to understand and so therefore doesn't exactly try to understand. Also that our emotions are a facade to what we truly are as individuals, see we all wear a mask and this mask is called an ego, and an ego has many faces. one minute the ego might be happy, one minute it might be sad, these are all just a part of the experience of life.
There are tons of emotions that comes from the ego based off our experience and how we emotionally orient our lives, its the things that we are fixated on in the mind that brings about frustration, so my motto is let go and let be. If i cant control it why harp over it. In reality there is one thing you can control, where or what it is you choose to focus on.
so thinking and saying to yourself in mind this always happens to me causes that perspective to be inborn and so when the slightest inconvenience happens and we think "Man, why does this always happen to me?" That statement or expression of words makes you believe and think that stuff like this always happens to you. its an over generalization of the present actual reality. If it is always happening to you, maybe there is a reason?
